Outcomes: - An important step for the leading VET organisation in Ireland towards becoming a leader in eLearning by implementing an organisational wide Learning Platform solution.
- A demonstration project for VET in Ireland to support wide adoption of VLEs & a Survey on VLEs supporting development within EU.

Becta research shows that VLEs will have a significant impact on the process of teaching and learning in the future. By transferring positive experience in the use of VLEs into VET, this project will provide VET teachers with a practical tool and materials for CPD. It will also result in better incorporation of ICT technologies by VET teachers and by improving their teaching practice and pedagogy, will give learners new opportunities for successful outcomes.
